Long-Form

Un resumen

A long-form improv class focused on building narrative skill through listening, noticing, and feedback. Participants explore how to sustain stories and characters over longer scenes, while developing awareness of the group’s shared rhythm. The class emphasizes supportive feedback, helping each player grow their capacity to co-create complex and surprising narratives. Instructor Bio Louis Wells has taught improvisation at the university level for over 15 years, where he developed an award-winning improv program recognized for innovation in teaching. He has directed student ensembles that performed at the Del Close Marathon, the People’s Improv Theater, and national festivals, and has worked with New York improv communities blending long-form performance with applied improvisation.
